Who is this test for?

Patients presenting with symptoms of a urinary tract infection or sexually transmitted infection, including painful or frequent urination, unusual discharge, pelvic pain, or lower abdominal discomfort. This panel is also appropriate for asymptomatic patients being screened for common STIs.

What are the potential benefits for my patient?

This PCR-based panel simultaneously detects a broad range of bacterial and viral pathogens — including those responsible for common STIs — with greater sensitivity than traditional urine cultures. Faster results allow clinicians to initiate targeted treatment sooner, reducing the risk of complications or transmission.
